Compressor Tips You Need To Know

A binary pressure switch is a safety device that has two functions; these are to cut the compressor off if the refrigeration charge is too low or the charge is lost if the compressor has run dry, thus preventing major damage to the unit.

If the head pressure reaches dangerous levels the compressor will cut out in order to prevent further damage to any other parts; these could include blowing a hose.

For those in the know it is imperative that you install the binary switch on the liquid side of the a/c which is situated between the condensor unit and the expansion valve.

The expansion valve is a refrigeration device that creates the pressure or the temperature to drop; the expansion valve operates in such a way where the pressure zones are divided into two. The two referred here are low and high pressure areas.

If you are using oils always ensure that the container is kept tightly capped at all times as any moisture that is absorbed would cause major damage to your system.

Never, ever mix any oils and read the instructions using the correct oils in your unit at all times which have been specified by the manufacturer.

Check your new compressor for oil as many new and refurbished compressors will come without oil.

Insufficient oil will damage your compressor.

Excessive oil will also cause damage to your compressor.

There are two types of piston compressors; these include the opposed axial type, and the single row axial otherwise known as the wobble-plate type.

One of the most important components that make your air conditioner functioning optimally at all times is the compressor.

When looking for a company to install your racking and shelving, select one that instills a feeling of confidence; one that has been in the business for an extended period of time and one which has an excellent track record with a long list of brilliant top-notch companies with which they have built up a relationship of confidence and trust. The Krost Racking Company has been in the business of racking and shelving since 1965, therefore it would be obvious that this should be your first choice.

Krost Racking offers an assortment of racking solutions for every application possible. With a varied and large selection of storage units and storage products this specialist racking company will be able to assist and utilise all the space that you already have, with no extra costs for renovating or extending existing buildings. Krost racking will allow you to make use of all the existing space that you already have.

Krost Racking is good looking, offering you a choice that includes value, quality and excellent service both before and after installation. Start off by building the sturdiest racking system in the business; remember that fewer components mean faster assembly of the racking system.

This will ensure that you will not have to replace your racking. In other words ensure that the racking you install will be long-lasting and prevent replacement, ensuring longevity.

UPS, UPS SYSTEMS

An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is an electrical apparatus that provides emergency power to a load when the input power source – typically mains power – fails. A UPS has its own rechargeable battery which provides immediate emergency power for your system when the main supply has been cut and thus preventing data loss.

In the event of a sustained power failure, the UPS is able to provide sufficient battery power for files to be saved and for the whole system to be shut down in an orderly manner. In the case of an alternative power source being available -such as a generator – the battery will provide sufficient power to keep your system running until the secondary supply is brought online. UPS’s also filter the power supply entering your computer system, thereby limiting the detrimental effect of spikes.

Typically a UPS is used to protect computers, data centres, telecommunication equipment or other electrical equipment where an unexpected power disruption could cause data loss, disruption of productivity, injuries and fatalities. UPS units range in size from those designed to protect a single computer to large units powering entire data centers, buildings or even cities.
As a business you need to sustain critical operations that simply can’t afford to be down as downtime can cost a company a lot of money in wasted time.

Building and construction had a huge boost in 2011 with the hosting of The FIFA Soccer World Cup Tournament; hotels were built, stadiums, airports and roads were being built and upgraded, and the general consensus was not only positive, but South Africans were euphoric, if only temporarily.
There is a definite positive feel with the recent recovery in the world economy and interest rates are also coming down. Banks are lending again, albeit cautiously, but the National Credit Act has impacted quite substantially on the way banks are granting loans. Banks in general are granting bonds, but the days of getting 100% bonds seem to be in the distant past.
Construction and development are once more breaking ground in 2011. These mostly apply to those that have previously done all their homework. Residential property development is not as glamorous and prolific as it was in the past. It seems as if people in general are thinking on more compact and a smaller scale.
It seems as if consumerism is now being nipped in the bud.
What is of significance is that the building and construction industry is now enabling beginners to start developing once again, which is one of the South African government’s main goals, and that is to improve services to all South African’s which in turn should impact on the construction and development industry in South Africa as a whole.
For more on construction in South Africa contact us to find out more.

The way that agri business impacts on the role of all South Africans is massive. Once water is found and the location pointed out, civil engineers will be in a position to ensure that the water is transformed and purified; ensuring that the water is safe and easily reached and available in order for crops to be watered.

Agri business is an amalgamation of climatology, science and geology collectively shared with a huge dose of practicality. The end results are healthy crops and food for whole communities.

The Institution Of Civil Engineering was founded in France during the 18th Century.
The first recorded civil engineer was John Smeaton who hailed from England.
Since the year 1761 civil engineers have been largely responsible for clean running water and sanitary systems that have saved limitless lives. A small group of engineers in London, consisting of a group of young men, formed the ICE in 1818 or The Institution of Civil Engineers as we have come to know it. The institution has offices all over the world, but has its base in London, where the exchange of ideas pertaining to all civil engineering matters takes place.

Civil engineering ensures that clean water is supplied by erecting reservoirs, dams, canals; the responsibility of civil engineers is for the purification of water and there is involvement in both agribusiness and geosynthetics on a large scale.

Clean water is essential for the health and safety of whole communities, therefore the role that civil engineers play in today’s modern world is essential for the safety and health of whole communities.

There is often a lack of clean drinking water in undeveloped and rural areas. Access to clean water is the right of every individual, therefore the role that civil engineers play is essential and life-saving for millions of individuals.

A perfect example of negative effects on building and construction is the Middle East. Dubai is also making a huge come-back, with property being attractive to investors, and especially those that are based in the GCC countries, such as Kuwait and Bahrain.

Civil engineering companies provide a full range of installation and design, but if you are thinking of building an office block or home, choose a company that has a good track record, excellent history and background and one which is reputable.

South Africa has so much to be proud of; not least the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup Tournament, when so many outstanding world-class stadiums were built by our excellent local civil engineers, making us stand head and shoulders above the rest of the world and walk tall amongst the best of the best globally. Since the 2010 FIFA World Cup the world has viewed South Africa in a totally different light, with South Africa earning huge respect. This has lead to strong foreign investment.

Civil engineers are also responsible for the excellent Gautrain that many of us find a necessity; something we did not dream of having access o in the past.
